Remove the thumbscrew from the back of the square plate, then lift the monitor off from the arm. The VESA mounting plate can then be removed from the monitor by taking out the 4 screws holding it.

For the 2012 and newer iMacs, the base is non-removable without fully disassembling the whole system. This was the simplest solution we could make.

It comes from old terminology and marketing. Often times, the full system of the monitor, keyboard, mouse and computer was referred to as the PC (personal computer), and the computer alone was called the CPU (central processing unit).

We're sorry the stand isn't working well! If the tilt joint is too tight, the bolt on the side of it can be loosened a little to allow movement. If the arm is sagging down under the weight of the monitor, turn the adjustment screw on top of the center arm joint counter-clockwise (as if unscrewing) until the arm no longer sinks down.

We do offer a full line of compatible tabletops to fit these, but we also offer the frames separate for those wanting to add a custom tabletop. Custom tops can be mounted by drilling pilot holes and inserting screws to secure, which we do include. We're sorry, but it's not large enough for the O11 Dynamic. The maximum size PC that will fit this carrying case is 19.7" x 9.5" x 18.9".

The clamping plate has a dpeth of 2.8", and we recommend at least 3" of available depth for properly mounting this stand. We unfortunately don't have any stands that will work with less than 2" of available depth.

The Amazon description is correct. The frame was recently updated to have a greater range of height adjustment, so this video is now out of date.

By scales, do you mean the measurements? The TV/monitor mount measures 20" wide and extends about 7" beyond the cockpit frame, and the height from the floor to the center of the mounting plate is 32.5" to 35.3" depending on the height setting.

Yes, a 23" monitor will fit as long as it has VESA 75x75mm or 100x100mm mounting holes.

Comparing ours to North Bayou's, the specifications for size, movement and weight supported are very similar. Their clamp design fits together more quickly with their friction pin system, while ours is bolted together and a little more solid as a result. We believe ours also offers a cleaner look for the desk with the cables kept a little more hidden within the arm.

The difference is in the base and lower arm section. STAND-V101G1 has the arm attached directly to the base with a higher facing upward angle, while this stand has a pole extending up from the base with a straighter lower arm clamped onto it. The pole system allows a greater range of height adjustment as well as more clearance underneath the arm. Either stand will have no problem holding the 49" CHG90, which just happens to be the monitor shown in this video.

This should be possible. The arm holding the centered monitor will have to be assembled without one of the lower sections, and sliding it directly onto the pole instead of the center arm bracket may also help.

No, it comes down to a minimum 75° angle from the ceiling.

The support joint for the desktop does need to be tightened to stay firmly in place. If one of these does have problems for any reason, we do provide full warranty support to those who contact us about it.

Hello, I have just bought this however when I slide the monitor arm onto the pole, and tighten the screw, it is never tight enough and just continues to move freely. Please help.

@@samuste_ We're sorry it's not tightening! It's possible the screw was inserted through the wrong side at the factory. If you remove the screw and reinsert it, making sure it slips through the first hole and tightens into the second, does that help the arms to fit the pole?
